As Good as it Gets

I wish I was in Men in Black A romantic comedy. Our hero is a famous author and certifiable nutcase. The heroine is a single mother whose kid is having a hard time at the hands of the medical profession. Then we add a gay painter who is the victim of gay bashing. Naturally our hero comes to the rescue - after dealing with the REAL hero of the film - a dog.
Expect lots of swearing.

138 minutes "), No persons under 13 (Language).
Comedy, Romance.

Jacqui Floyd: JACK NICHOLSON - BRILLIANT!!!!

Hannelie Appelgryn: Absolutely the best I have seen from Jack and Helen ! A very very good portrayel of insecurity being changed by boldness and love!

Robert Haynes: If Jack doesn't walk away with the Best Actor Oscar, there is no justice in this world. The man oozes star quality and drenches every single scene with intimate characterisation that only a performer of his calibre could !!! Helen Hunt doffs her dowdy second billing tv star image and also blossoms in a truly touching performance. This is a REAL film about REAL people with a gem of a script that'll tug at even the most hardened arteries...GO SEE!!!

Raam Naicker: NICHOLSON IS AT HIS BEST .... This is really good stuff!!

Neil Thompson: Highly overated movie with silly, inappropriate, over-the-top gags that mostly fall through.

Helene Kritzinger: I do believe that this is more or less what God intended movies to be like.

Claire Graham: Amazing movie that keeps you engrossed till the very end. Acting by all main characters was outstanding.

Shaun Myburg: Well, it's become a cliche now, but this really is "as good as it gets". Nicholson and Hunt form one of the most enjoyable screen couples in recent years. I waited till after the Oscars to see this film (in case they didn't win), but was kind of sorry I waited so long to see it. The only problem is how will Nicholson and Helen top this? I urge you to see this masterpiece, it does live up to it's title.

Beverley Arnott: Good fun.

David L. Hunt: I was only able to watch it once.
