Besieged


A beautiful political refugee from an unnamed country in Africa, has gone to Rome to study medicine. She takes a room and a housekeeping position in the house of a self-absorbed classical music composer. He falls deeply in love with her. But she is already married to an imprisoned teacher.
So, when he confronts her with his affection for her, the only response she can gave him is that she would only love him if he got her husband out of jail. When she is about to be reunited with her husband she realises that she actually does have feelings for this man...

Ian Douglas: This movie alternates between confusing and boring. I know the pro critics raved about it, but I could not wait for it to finish. Also, the Kenyan ''singing'' which keeps popping up is even more irritating than the rap in ''Slam''.
