Man on the MoonAndy Kaufman was a comedian who made a name for himself on the TV sitcom "Taxi". He was a creative comic genius with a distinctly different sense of humour, often missing his audience. The film follows his career until his untimely death, showing the various sides of the man and why he became a legend in his own time. A great performance from Carrey.133 minutes, No persons under 13 (Language). Comedy, Drama.

Ian Douglas: It would help your appreciation of the film if you are familiar with "Taxi", and even more if you were familiar with Kaufman's work. Nevertheless, a fascinating look at a really wacky character.
Andrew Simpson (17): Carrey is brilliant as the weird and whacky Andy Kauffman. He should definitely have won an oscar for his portrayal. Very good film but I didn't quite understand the ending.
