Toy Story 2

The followup to the highly successful Toy Story, we continue with the adventures of Woody and Buzz. This time, Woody gets toynapped and is set to be sent to a musuem in Japan, where his continued existence will be guaranteed. He has to balance this possibility against potentially ending on the trash heap, like the cute cow-girl that he meets. Naturally Buzz and the boys coming rushing to the rescue, in a kind of TweedleDum -- TweedleDee effort. Lots of fun for the kids.

Shaun Myburg (21): The first thing I have to ask about this movies is, who was the target audience? I found a lot of these jokes only adults would catch and most of the in jokes aimed at movie buffs. I mean how many kids can say they picked up on the Jurassic Park bit in the toy store? Or the Star Wars ''I'm your father'' bit? However all that aside, this is a class act and will have you in stiches one minute and bring a tear to your eye the next, superbly done. I have never been a cartoon fan, but with this gem and the forthcoming Dinosaurs I may need to have a more open mind. Expect a fortune in merchandise sale.... now where did I put my Woody.... ;-)

Claire Jill Patterson (13): It was cool for kids and a laugh for parents.

Paul Turner (22): Even though this is meant to be a kid's movie, I laughed virtually all the way through. It is a good clean laugh.

Helen van Eeden (40ish): Excellent!! Enjoyed it as much as my kids.

Guinevere Vos (23): Not as good as the first Toy Story but a very funny film with amazing effects by Pixar.

Jeremie Dupont (23): Brilliant animation, hilarious screenplay... Finally a cartoon aimed for all ages.
