An animated sci-fi film set in the future. Earth is attacked by invaders from space, and mankind flees just before Earth explodes. Years later, we pick up the story as our hero, the son of a scientist who developed a remarkable space craft, gets involved in tracking down that vessel, which holds the key to mankind's continued existence. He is helped by an old associate of his dad's, but all is not as it seems...

Ian Douglas: the plotline held the interest of the adult preview audience, which says something for a kid's movie. Nice to see some good non-Disney animation, the film should do well with the kids. Some characters appear to have been designed with merchandising toys in mind...
