The Dish

During the first manned lunar landing, the video and audio relay to Earth relied on a satellite dish in a small town in Australia. This comedy takes a look at what happened back in 1969, and the four men responsible for making the footage of Neil Armstrong stepping down on the moon, a success. The first lunar landing was broadcast on television all over the world.

Ian Douglas: Very funny in places, may be a bit laid back and low-key for younger audiences who prefer strictly visual humour. Much of the humour is in the characters themselves, you need a bit of life behind you to recognise the humour. Also nice to see the footage of the first moon walk which we missed the first time around.
