Set around World War I, a young woman resolves to find out the truth about her fiancé's death in the trenches between the French and German troops. He had been sentenced to death, but no one saw him die, so she believes that he is still alive. However, she is not the only person seeking the truth about what happened, and some witnesses end up dead... In French with English subtitles.
