Rize

This documentary takes a look at the dance phenomenon known as ''clowning'' or ''krumping''. From it's origins soon after the Rodney King riots, in the poor areas of Los Angeles, the dance craze spread as an exciting and safe outlet for excess youth energy. Instead of joining gangs to fight, the kids have dance competitions.
