Max Payne

Max Payne
The latest videogame-to-movie adaptation has met with a poor reception from the critics. The plotline, such as it is, serves merely to string numerous action sequences together. Our hero is a cop, possibly dirty, who lost his wife and kid to a killer a while back. He has dedicated himself to tracking down the killer, and hooks up with a female assassin who also has some issues with the killer he seeks. Inbetween lurching from one shootout to the next, he has to stay one step ahead of another cop investigating some suspicious deaths which may be linked to him.
