Nights in Rodanthe
This melodrama revolves around what happens one weekend at a getaway cottage on the beach. A doctor is the sole guest, and a woman pops in to look after the place for her friend. They each have their own emotional baggage, but during the weekend, while sheltering from a hurricane, the wraps come off and they get to know each other well, including in the biblical sense. He then heads off to South America, and they correspond by letters before the climax.
