Quarantine

On March 11 2008, the government sealed off an apartment complex in Los Angeles. The residents were never seen again. No details. No witnesses. No evidence. Until now.

Quarantine
Based on a Spanish horror film (Rec), this film explores what happens when a television reporter and her cameraman enter a building in Los Angeles. The TV crew was shadowing a fire crew responding to a 911 call. After entering the building, the authorities sealed it off, because the residents inside were infected with a mutant form of rabies. The virus had turned them into killer. Now, the fire and TV crews have to fight for survival... Note that this film is shot Blair-Witch style with a hand-held camera.

88 minutes.

C. Fuchs quote iconIf the persistently bouncy, shaky and disorienting camerawork doesn't make you seasick (and it will if you're remotely susceptible), the retreaded material (crazed, animal-like killers pick off trapped people one by one) will leave you not remotely concerned or interested in who's the last one to bite the dust.
