Role Models

Danny and Wheeler were just sentenced to 150 hours mentoring kids. Worst idea ever.

Role Models
This raucous comedy is a coming-of-age tale for two young men, and two young boys. After they find themselves on the wrong side of the law, the two men agree to do community service as ''big brothers'' to two young boys. This proves to be a major life-changing experience for all of them, as they help each other grow up and learn about life — and women — along the way. Note that the film contains a lot of bad language.

Ivan Sadler quote iconThere is nothing new here, but there are enough laugh out loud jokes to have you leaving the cinema in a good mood.
10
Chicago Sunday Times
Roger Ebert quote iconRole Models is the kind of movie you don't see every day, a comedy that is funny. The kind of comedy where funny people say funny things in funny situations, not the kind of comedy that whacks you with manic shocks to force an audible Pavlovian response.

eye Weekly
Kieran Grant quote iconThis is that rare middling comedy that figures itself out and gets better as it ticks along. Maybe wait for the DVD.
10
ReelViews
James Berardinelli quote iconSadly, an injection of raunchiness does not equate to an increase in quality and, while Role Models can boast the occasionally funny joke, there's little else to recommend this derivative buddy film. It's disposable entertainment at its most extreme.
10
Rolling Stone
Peter Travers quote iconSometimes a shamelessly stoopid, proudly profane R-rated comedy is all you want out of life. Role Models more than fills the bill. It's killer funny.

ScreenIt
C. Fuchs quote iconFunnier and more charming than I imagined it would or could be, Role Models isn't anything great and it's certainly not for all viewers, but it surprisingly turns out to be fairly entertaining, meaning it has a good chance at surviving at the box office rather than being eaten up by the competition.
