Vampire Academy

Blood is family. Blood is pain. And blood is death.

Vampire Academy
This film opened in the USA without press previews, which is never a good sign. In some ways a spoof of the teen-vampire love/lust genre, it involves a teenage girl who is half-human, half-vampire. She is forced to return to a school especially for her kind (hence the title), where she must protect her friend from threats both inside and outside the academy.

105 minutes.
No persons under 13 (Violence).
Action, Comedy, Detective/Mystery, Fantasy, Horror.

Not currently showing on the local cinema circuit.

Peter Travers quote iconOne idea, mixed with lame jokes, and stretched beyond coherence. Vampire Academy doesn't need a review. It needs a stake in the heart.
