Chappie (IMAX)

I am discovery. I am wonder. I am Chappie.

Chappie (IMAX)
Neil and Shalto came back to Johannesburg for another peak into the near future. The film received below-average reviews in the USA, and while it opened at number 1 there, it was with a rather low box office take. User reviews are generally more favourable than the critics. Set in the near future, crime is managed by an oppressive mechanized police force. People have had enough and are fighting back. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. As powerful, destructive forces start to see Chappie as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo and ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind. This film is releasing in regular and IMAX versions, this is the IMAX version.
