Xolani, a lonely factory worker, travels to the rural mountains with the men of his community to initiate a group of teenage boys into manhood. When a defiant initiate from the city discovers his best-kept secret, Xolani’s entire existence begins to unravel. This film has won numerous international awards and was South Africa's official entry for the Oscars, but did not make the shortlist. In Xhosa, English and Afrikaans, with English subtitles.
