Jack Taggert (Ray Wise) works in a cornfield with his sons, punching posts to hang scarecrows in the dusk. But they're not alone. Suddenly, to the horror of the helpless father, Billy is snatched screaming into the darkening sky... The Creeper (Jonathan Breck) is back!The Bannon High School basketball team and cheerleaders are about to find out that the Creeper is an ancient flesh-eating creature that emerges to feed every twenty-three years. Left stranded in a broken-down bus after the adults are torn away one by one by the Creeper, the kids are forced to fight for their lives against the winged beast until the grief-stricken and vengeful Taggert finds them.
