When 17-year-old JJ White comes home from six months of court-ordered rehab, he is not sure what to expect. Newly sober, struggling to keep an even keel in the emotionally turbulent world of real feelings, he is brought home to his working class family house by ongoing late snowstorms.JJ must stay sober amid his troubled and dysnfunctional family, unsure in his semi-delusional state if the pressure he feels from so many directions is psychosomatic, or whether someone really is out to get him.
Ball in the House is a dark comedy, about the All-American pastimes of baseball, alcohol, rehabilitation and tough love.
