Partner(s)
Partner(s) is a romantic comedy that explores the many ambiguities of the word ''partner''. When enterprising attorney Dave (Jay Harrington) is offered the chance to head his law firm's defence team in a major case, he happily accepts the challenge, as this could lead to a partnership. Dave soon realises that he received this opportunity because the client believes that he is gay and that it would be ''politically sensitive'' to hire him as his company is being sued for alleged gay discrimination. The truth is that although Dave's roommate, Christopher (Michael Ian Black) is gay, Dave is very definitely heterosexual; they are friends, not romantic partners. Driven by ambition and the chance to become a partner in the law firm, Dave decides to go along with the charade.
