A struggling writer gets given a secret pill by his ex-brother-in-law, and enters a whole new world. The pill allows his brain to function at 100% of capacity, with perfect recall of everything he ever saw, heard or experienced. Soon he has finished a novel and turned his attention to Getting Rich Quick. After some gambling success he goes to play with the big boys on the stock exchange, and makes a fortune. This attracts the attention of a very wealthy man who seeks to use him. Unfortunately, right about now, his supply of the pills begins to run out, and he discovers that some very nasty people have a deep interest in getting hold of his remaining pills ...
