The End of Violence

Yeah, I know.. smoking sucks! A high-powered movie executive, who specialises in ultra-violent movies, is alienated from his family by his busy work life. Then one day he experiences the violence first-hand when he is kidnapped and nearly killed. Forced to disappear for a while, he takes refuge with a Mexican family.

Meantime, Big Brother was watching, and the surveillance expert gets involved in solving the mystery, as does our hero-cum-victim. Meantime his wife decides to divorce him, while another cop on the case gets romantically involved with a stuntwoman.

The Moviesite Fan Club comments
Bruce Humphrey: Good acting by Bill Pullman and Andie MacDowell but I must admit I was somewhat tired when I saw this movie which just made the confusing story line even more difficult to follow. Nice though to see how remote communications will work via satellite in the future (or is the technology here already?)
