The Green Mile

Set on death row in a Southern prison, USA, the film is about a gentle black giant and the effect he has on the people around him. While simple-minded, he is blessed with an amazing gift. It is not long before the head of the block realises that his prisoner is innocent, but he is powerless to prevent the execution.
