Ian Douglas: A complex ensemble piece (also very long), which reminded me of both ''Happiness'' (which shared some cast members) and also ''Playing by Heart''. The film is character driven, with little plot except a dying man, and for me, lost all credibility with the frog shower at the end. There were just way too many frogs for it to be believable. Some great performance, especially from Tom Cruise.
