Dirty Pretty Things
Let's go upstairs and play Doctor Doctor...
|
This drama-thriller takes a look at the sorry plight of illegal immigrants, trying to make a living and staying out of reach of the immigration officials, in modern-day London. The action is mostly in the hotel where a group of them live, working hard at menial jobs. After a Nigerian doctor finds a human heart in the toilets, he begins an investigation, which uncovers unpleasant facts. His female roommate, meanwhile, has to put up with a randy boss to avoid getting deported.
