Gothika

After murdering her husband, a doctor is sent to the asylum which she used to run. Her ex colleagues ignore her explanations of being possessed by the ghost of a little girl, even when she presents evidence. She manages to escape, and returns to the scene where the girl was killed, finding evidence which leads her the rest of the way to solving the case, and gaining peace of mind for herself.
