Touching the Void
Heck of a time for Boney M...
A documentary about a climbing disaster in the Peruvian Andes. A pair of young men make it to the top, and begin a forced descent, as bad weather is setting it. One climber shatters his knee, and his friend starts lowering him by rope. At one point, his friend thinks he is dead, and cuts the rope. This is when the real story begins, as the injured climber struggles to make it back to base camp before the climbing party leaves.|
