Boy Called Twist


A South African version of Dickens' classic, ''Oliver Twist''. After his mother dies in childbirth, a Coloured boy is left at an orphanage. When older, he is sent to work at a vineyard, but runs away to Cape Town. There, he falls in with a gang of thieves, before being adopted by an elderly man, who lost his own daughter.
