Bollywood tries its hand at that Hollywood staple, the sports rags-to-riches story. Our hero is an 18 year old deaf-mute, who lives in a small village, and dreams of representing his country at cricket. However, he has little practical cricket experience, but manages to get into a local cricket academy, only to be kicked out. In desperation, he turns to the town drunk, who used to be a cricketer. The drunk agrees to coach him, and thus begins his long struggle to gain the necessary skills. In Hindi language with English subtitles.
