The Machinist

The hero of this dark mystery thriller is a blue-collar machinist. A year ago, he played a part in an accident which amputated a colleague's hand. Unable to come to terms with his actions, he has been suffering insomnia ever since, and has lost a lot of weight. He comes to believe that there is a plot against him, including imaginary co-workers and weird post-it notes hinting at his death. As his sanity slips away, he tries desperately to solve the puzzles.
