Tristan & Isolde

A period romantic drama of Shakespearian complexity. Set after the Romans left Britain, he's a young man with an ambitious uncle. After a fight, he is thought dead, and set adrift on a raft. He washes up in Ireland, where the local Princess nurses him back to health. He is not aware of who she is. Things progress, and a while later, her father puts her up for marriage to a Briton. She ends up marrying our hero's uncle, and it's not long before the two lovers are having an affair... which can only end badly. The story is based on on ancient myth, and reviews have been very mixed.
