Stomp the Yard

Stomp the Yard
African gumboot dancing hits the big screen via Hollywood. A young man moves across country to avoid problems with dancing rivals. At his new college, two opposing fraternities are soon courting his skills, but he hangs back. He starts pursuing a pretty young woman, unaware she is already involved with someone who will turn out to be a dance rival. Her father is also not too pleased with her new friend. The critics suggest you ignore the storyline and watch the dancing.
