Stella Papamichael quote iconPlaying the lead, Emile Hirsch captures all of the arrogance, integrity, naiveté and charm of this complex, troubled young man.

Chicago Sunday Times
Roger Ebert quote iconThe movie is so good partly because it means so much, I think, to its writer-director.
20
eye Weekly
Jason Anderson quote iconThanks to Penn's affectionate yet clear-eyed tribute, Alexander Supertramp's story will touch more lives, too.
15
ReelViews
James Berardinelli quote iconnto the Wild is a long motion picture, clocking in at nearly 150 minutes. But the strength and breadth of its material earns it the extended running time. It's about many things, and makes pointed comments about the ridiculousness of a society where bureaucracy and the rat race have become so cumbersome that they crush the pleasure out of living.

Peter Travers quote iconUnmissable and unforgettable.
