Tropic Thunder

Get some.

Tropic Thunder
Ben Stiller turns a piercing eye on the Hollywood movie production circus in this hilarious comedy. A group of top actors and crew get together to make a movie about the Vietnam war. The director decides to drop them off in the jungle, telling them that they will be filmed by hidden cameras. As they trudge along through the jungle, they bump into some drug smugglers, who think that the actors are narcotics agents. The actors think the drug smugglers are just more actors... until they realise the truth. They'll need all their acting skill to get out of this one alive. The film has found favour with critics and audiences alike, but beware the strong language.

James Berardinelli quote iconTropic Thunder understands movies, understands the system in which they are created and, most of all, knows what it takes to make an audience roar with laughter.

Peter Travers quote iconThink of all the ways you can hurt yourself laughing, as in fall down, split your sides, bust a gut, blow your mind. You get it all in Tropic Thunder, a knockout of a comedy that keeps you laughing constantly. It's also killer smart, lacing combustible action with explosive gags.
