Susanna van Biljon

Something of a musical, this Afrikaans romantic drama is set in small Karoo town. Our heroine is a 30-something woman stuck in a dead-end job and looking hard for Mr. Right. Perhaps the sheep farmer is ready to be sheared? While scheming to get out of town and away from her aging mother, she finds escape with music. The film features a lot of Afrikaans music and performers, of diverse styles.
