The Beaver
A middle-aged family man is suffering from serious depression. He's running the toy business he inherited from his father into the ground. His wife can't take it any more and kicks him out. After failing to commit suicide in a hotel room, he comes around to discover he has a new friend: a beaver hand puppet, which assumes a distinct personality with his voice. As the puppet guides his life back onto the right track, his family lets him move back, but after a while begin to wonder just how sane he is...
