A modern-day variant of the Noah story, set against the background of human destruction of our planet. A married man lives in a small town with his wife and young deaf daughter. He begins to have terrifying nightmares about a environmental catastrophe, and eventually treats the dreams as a warning, and starts building a secure storm shelter. Naturally his family and neighbours do not understand, leading to tension and difficulties all round. However his fears over what is coming compels him to complete the job ...
