Darrell Roodt is back with another powerful story set in the small Karoo. A talented and popular young singer withdraws into silence after an armed attack leaves her family dead. She retreats to Oudtshoorn, where her silence and bad attitude proves disruptive. Luckily the young minister takes an interest in her case, and as he gets to know she, she starts to come out of her shell... until she has to return to the city to testify against her family's killers.
