Admission

Let someone in.

Admission
An uptight Princeton admissions officer encounters a teenage prodigy who may be her long lost son while recruiting students from an alternative high school. Years ago, she had quietly placed her newborn son up for adoption. One day, she receives an unexpected call from her free-spirited college buddy, who now runs an alternative high school that's home to some very gifted students. He believes that one of them could be the son that his friend gave up for adoption back in her youth. Meanwhile, as she puts her career in jeopardy by altering the boy's transcript, an unexpected romance begins to blossom. The critics were generally not impressed, seeing the film as a missed opportunity.

Tomatometer quote iconAdmission has a pair of immensely likable leads in Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, but it wastes them on a contrived (and clumsily directed) screenplay.
