A semi-remake of Sam Raimi's cult classic, which ups the gore quotient to the max. A young woman had become addicted to cocaine while caring for her sick mother, so four of her friends decide to take her to a cabin in the woods to help her go cold turkey. Once there, they discover a mysterious book, which leads to a demon being released. The demon posseses the young woman, and soon we're in who-dies-next territory as the blood begins to flow freely.
