All love is equal

A decorated New Jersey police detective is diagnosed with cancer and wants to leave her hard earned pension to her domestic partner, who happens to also be a woman. However the county officials, Freeholders, conspire to prevent her from doing this. Her hard-nosed detective partner and a gay activist unite in support of the women, rallying police officers and ordinary citizens to support their struggle for equality.
