Ouija: Origin of Evil

When you talk to the other side, you never know who will be listening.

Ouija: Origin of Evil
This year’s Halloween horror/thriller is pitched as a prequel to 2014’s ’’Ouija’’. Set in 1965 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their seance scam business. However this unwittingly invites authentic evil into their home. When the youngest daughter is overtaken by a merciless spirit, the family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side.

Jim Judy quote iconIs it a great horror pic? The Ouija board would likely point to &rquot;&rquot;no,&rquot;&rquot; but if asked if it&rquot;s a decent enough offering in the genre, it would easily slide over to the affirmative answer.
