This week’s arthouse only release is from reknowned director Pedro Almodóvar. A mother lives in Madrid with her daughter. They both suffer in silence over the loss of the father. But at times grief doesn’t bring people closer, it drives them apart. When the daughter turns eighteen she abandons her mother, without a word of explanation. Mom looks for her in every possible way, but all she discovers is how little she knows of her daughter. In Spanish language with English subtitles.
