Newsletter and jokes 17 August 2018

Hi all

From sharks to wolves (and the sci-fi version coming soon, too) with Alpha,
although this is aimed at a younger audience than last week's Meg.

The biggest release this week is for the adults, in the form of the
female-buddy The Spy Who Dumped me, which has above average ratings for
the genre and is expected to do well.

Staying with adult fare, we have a horror film which has not been released
stateside yet and may in fact go straight to broadcast/DVD, which is a bit
curious.

The local industry, flush with the success of Stroomop, rolls out another
female-friendly film about a young woman taking a road trip with her
god-father, which may prove controversial in some quarters.

Then the subcontinent provides four films, two today and two next Wednesday
in line with the Moslem holiday.

On the previews side, there are a few previews on Sunday for chapter three
of the Hotel Transylvania animated series. See the previews page and
remember to book.
