Tulipani: Love, Honour and a Bicycle

After losing his farm to floods in 1953, a romantic Dutch farmer moves to a small village in Italy, where he builds a booming tulip business. Over the years, due to interactions with the locals, he becomes a living legend, before suddenly disappearing. Now, 30 years later, an Italian police inspector attempts to unravel what happened, with the help of a young Canadian woman. The film has several wins and nominations to its credit.
