| Comments | The film tells the story of the wives of soldiers who have to find activities to keep busy and forget about the anxiety of their husbands going to war. They become close and support each other in the difficult time they are experiencing. They start a choir and with hard work and determination the choir is successful. The themes are mature and complex, light-hearted and has a comedic tone. Issues of an adult nature, living with anxiety of losing a husband, dealing with the loss of a son and husband, sorrow and settling differences could be morally confusing, disturbing and upsetting to children under 13. |
