June. Summer in New York -- hot and tense. The recent rape and murder of a nun has cranked things up to a fever pitch as the entire world, it seems, descends upon this small Italian neighbourhood looking for a story. For Dietl and partner COWBOY, so-named because of his John Wayne-like drawl, there's nothing more important than nailing the deviants who came into their neighbourhood and did this to a nun. But with Bo and Cowboy's reputation as loose cannons, they can't even get near the case -- this one's being handled from downtown. Angry at being shut out, Bo and Cowboy vow to break the case themselves and use their mob contacts to bring them , clue by clue, closer to the killers.
