Thirst The town of San Paulo, California is in the midst of one of the worst heat waves. To make matters worse, what appears to be an epidemic caused by food poisoning has spread among residents like wild fire.

But water filtration engineer Bob Miller has a hunch that proves to be terrifyingly true: the city's water supply is contaminated. Faucets in every home, school and office building are pouring out a deadly new strain of an old germ. The virus deprives the body of fluids, finally killing people from thirst. To survive, the body must be flushed with clean water.

Hospitals are packed. The city is quarantined to confine the epidemic. People are rioting in the streets. And the heat wave keeps coming. With infections multiplying - and Bob's own son close to death - he races against time to stop the epidemic. With no water, no answers and very little hope, are they all dead in the water?

Action and suspense that will give you a taste of terror.
