Nicole Stone used to be a sweet, likeable kid. Now, this 13 year old is acting like a spoilt brat with a bad attitude, angry at everyone, especially her father. Aboard the Stone's private 707 jetliner, Nicole is flying to meet her father who was honoured at a ''Man of the Year'' ceremony. Accompanying her are his business associates Frank and Andrea.Suddenly, the plane is hit by lightning, blowing a huge hole through the fuselage, seriously injuring the flight crew, Frank and Andrea, but sparing Nicole. Flying on auto-pilot with its guidance system severely damaged, the plane begins a steady descent from the sky. To recover control, Nicole must disengage the auto-pilot. No use. Unless air traffic control, with the help of her father, can come up with another option fast, the plane will crash.
