When a scuffle between a disgruntled, laid-off security guard and a plant manager accidentally starts a fire at a chemical plant, NATO hazardous materials expert David Whitman (WILLIAM HURT), is called in to investigate.Under the rubble David uncovers the horrible truth that a supposedly banned secret pesticide is back in use. David also stumbles upon information that the U.S. government has been secretly producing the toxin for use as an ''assassin'' chemical... a disclosure that puts him in grave danger.
