Alex Corvis swore that the brutal slaying of his girlfriend was the work of a ''mystery man'' with a scarred arm, that it was this unseen attacker who stabbed Lauren Randall fifty-three times with a hunting knife and then framed Alex for the crime.A friendless loner from the wrong side of the tracks, the young man's story is not believed, the cops never turn up anything about the so-called Mystery Man. Now Alex Corvis has returned, his face scarred in the visage of The Crow, courtesy of the death mask he wore in his final moments. And though he has the supernatural crow to guide him, Alex alone must solve the mystery of Lauren's murder, and thus unmask his own ''killer'' as well.
