In a cross between ''Braveheart'' and ''Dracula'', comes the true story of Dark Prince, the Prince of Romania, whose life became the basis for the legend of Dracula.Young Vlad Dracula, the Prince of Romania, and his younger brother Radu, are kidnapped and held hostage by the Turkish Sultan Mohammed. Their father is murdered -- buried alive -- but on one knows by whom.
The Sultan holds the boys prisoner for many years and develops a particular attachment to young Radu. When the grown Vlad Dracula is finally released, he vows to avenge his father's death and to return to liberate his brother from the Sultan.
